firedns software package provides Runtime binaries for firedns, an asynch. dns resolver library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firedns
firedns is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firedns package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firedns *
You will get with firedns package name, version, architecture and description in a table
